Thank you to all of our clients, friends and family who donated to the American Cancer Society by sponosoring our teams for the annual Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walks in NC, MA and MI.  Together we raised over $5,000 for this amazing cause!  Can’t wait for next year.

According to a new website launched yesterday, www.bookofodds.com; the odds a female will ever be diagnosed with breast cancer are 1 in 8.14 (US, 2002 – 2004).  That is more common than a female attending a NFL game this year! 

Books of Odds goes onto tell us that in 2004 the predicted odds that a woman diagnosed with breast cancer would survive at least one year are 1 in 1.02; the odds that she will survive at least five years are 1 in 1.12; and the odds that she will survive at least 20 years are 1 in 1.38. While it certainly is great news, here at APR we’re not surprised with the recent news about our company. APR was recently named one of the Best Places to Work in Collections through a program created by InsideARM.com and Best Companies Group. Excited? Absolutely… Surprised? Not really…

I’m not being arrogant about the award. We just know we’re doing the right thing when it comes to taking care of our team.
